Counselling
Gentle, holistic, and person-centred counselling to guide you towards healing, purpose, and peace of mind.
About My Counselling Approach
- There are many different types of counselling from Person Centred to Transpersonal, to Psychodynamic to CBT (used by the NHS) or an eclectic or “integrated” approach used by most counsellors.
- Whatever type of counselling or therapy you decide to embark upon the results should be the same, a sense of transformation, energy and purpose.
- A life which is not restricted by anxieties, or fearful of the past, a life that allows you to follow your chosen path.
- Supportive and confidential guidance for emotional wellbeing
My preferred approach is in the transpersonal field, however I find that the Person Centred approach fits in with most patients’ needs and my homoeopathic approach too
Person Centred means that I am guided by that person’s needs at that moment in time.
How does this fit with homoeopathy
I find that some patients, although feeling much better from their homoeopathic treatment, need someone to talk to or be alongside them on their journey because they are seeking a deeper sense of self in their quest for their life’s purpose. Some people simply need more ongoing support because of their life situation and in some homoeopathy awakens a sense of spirituality which they want to explore.
I specialise in bereavement counselling. During this counselling I use homeopathic remedies which help the grieving process substantially and give the person a reason to move on far more quickly than with counselling alone.
Overall my approach is holistic, gentle and Person Centred.
